METICOS PARTICIPATING IN CLOSED WORKSHOP ORGANIZED BY FRONTEX

It is with immense pleasure that METICOS will be participating in a closed workshop organized by FRONTEX and the European Border and Coast Guard (EBCG) community (FRONTEX agency and Member States Authorities) on the 20th and 21st of May 2021.

The Project Coordinator of METICOS, Pantelis Velanas, PHD, will present METICOS to the European Border and Coast Guard community going through the scope and focus of the project and plans for the future.

The EU-funded METICOS project aims to create an up-to-date acceptance classification scheme as well as a societal and ethical impact dashboard of border control technologies, to empower three major sub-divisions of the wider border control sector: travelers, border control authorities and service providers.

The aim of the workshop is for the European Border and Coast Guard community to be familiarised with the H2020 project that are ongoing and identify innovation insertion and operation testing opportunities.
